This slim volume is an investigation carried out by French-Israeli journalist Amnon Kapeliouk soon after events and published in 1983. It is based on interviews with Israeli soldiers and others.

Robert Fisk's book gives an insightful account of Lebanon's troubled history and the build-up to the Israeli invasion and the massacre.
From Beirut to Jerusalem
A personal account of events by British surgeon Swee Chai Ang who was working in the camps at the time of the massacre and testified at the Kahane inquiry.

Ari Folman's film ultimately pulls its punches but is nevertheless the first time an Israeli has addressed the country's role in events on film. See my review here.
